Currently on view at ICA Miami, Olga de Amaral’s exhibition offers a striking dialogue between material, texture, and light. Known for weaving gold, linen, and gesso into monumental forms, her work invites us to reflect on the built environment, not just as structure, but as emotion, rhythm, and presence.
These images capture only glimpses: a glint of metallic thread, the softness of a woven plane, the silence between layers. Like great design, Amaral’s pieces reveal their meaning through close attention—a reminder to architects, designers, and creatives alike that sometimes, inspiration lives in the smallest textures.
The exhibition is open through October 27, 2025.
